He is making the call at a conference currently underway at Ho Technical University in the Volta Region on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, which is focusing on the role of innovation and technology in improving education in Ghana.
The conference, held under the theme, “Revolutionizing Education, Transforming Ghana Through Innovation and Technology,” is bringing together stakeholders from education, technology, academia and national development to explore new approaches to teaching, learning and skills development.
The event is seeking to promote technology-driven learning, innovation and modern approaches to teaching and skills training as part of efforts to reshape Ghana’s education system.
Bagbin’s participation is bringing parliamentary leadership and policy attention to discussions on the future of education, particularly the need to equip young people with relevant skills to meet the changing demands of the global economy.
As discussions continue, stakeholders are expected to explore ways of strengthening digital education, practical skills training and innovation to better prepare students for the modern workforce.
The conference is also expected to generate recommendations that could contribute to future policies and initiatives aimed at making Ghana’s education system more technology-driven, innovative and responsive to the needs of the country’s youth.
