Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah has been handed a six-month driving ban and fined after a Rolls-Royce registered in his name was caught speeding in Cheshire, United Kingdom.
Salah was convicted in his absence by Warrington Magistrates’ Court in August after he failed to identify the person driving the luxury vehicle when it was detected by a speed camera in March 2026.
According to reports, the Rolls-Royce Spectre, reportedly worth more than €466,000 (about Dh1.96 million), was recorded speeding in Wilmslow.
The 34-year-old reportedly also failed to respond to two notices sent to his mansion, which is estimated to be worth more than €5 million (about Dh21.08 million).
The court subsequently imposed a six-month driving disqualification and a fine of €769 (about Dh3,242).
The incident reportedly occurred two days after Salah announced his departure from Liverpool.
Salah has been away from England for some time, but the court case has now brought his name back into the headlines over the driving offence.
