Ghana’s online passport application platform is temporarily unavailable due to technical challenges, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ministry said applicants may experience difficulties accessing the passport application website, passport.mfa.gov.gh, to submit their applications.
According to the Ministry, its technical team is working with the National Signals Bureau to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The Ministry apologised to affected customers for the inconvenience and assured the public that an update would be provided once the platform is fully restored.
